Sausage & Cheese Skewers
You can really have fun with this appetizer. Choose the sausage you like and the cheese while adding zesty mustard!
- Sausage Suggestions: Kielbasa, Italian, Andouille
- Block Cheese Suggestions: Swiss, Cheddar, Smoked Gouda, Monterey Jack
- Mustard Suggestions: Raspberry Wasabi, Garlic Kraut, Dill Pickle
- Appetizer Bamboo Skewers
Roast the sausages in a pan or in the oven until they are cooked thoroughly.
While cooking the sausages, cube your cheese choice(s). You want them about ½” square.
When the sausages are cool enough to handle, place them on a cutting board and slice them into rounds about ½” thick.
Place the Terrapin Ridge Farms Mustard of your choice into a small bowl and place it on the platter you will be serving the Sausage Cheese Skewers on.
To make the skewers, first place a cube of cheese on the skewer stick and then add a piece of sausage. Stand the skewers on the platter and serve.
